Services - Prototyping and design

Our process is simple:

Conceptualise

Our usual practice is to research the organisation and their competition as a starting point, then meet with the client, conduct an open discussion, ‘brainstorming' and creating a wish list for the business. We then work out feasibility against that list and provide a detailed scope of work. Dependent on the profile of the project, we often accommodate our recommendations with graphic design, sketches and 3D rendered visuals.

Design and structure

Our graphic designers will provide concept sketches both for the ‘look and feel' of the kiosk, display system or space, and also the content (applications). In the background we have determined key people for the project and assigned a project management team to work through a process towards implementation.

Build

After the design intent stage, we have decided what is functional and achievable and get to work on building and delivering the solution.

Services - Prototyping and design

Prototyping

When asked to provide working prototypes such as kiosk systems, there are key areas that we consider:

Application

Branding and, more importantly, the user journey.

Enclosure

Branding, accessibility, security, design against volume, component upgrading, support and site suitability.

Hardware

Life span of components, customer profile and site location.
